Stephen Harned, Certified Consulting Meteorologist (CCM), brings over 50 years of meteorological expertise to forensic weather consulting. He has founded three meteorology firms and provided expert analysis and courtroom testimony for attorneys, insurance companies, government agencies, and private clients across the U.S. and internationally.

Before founding his consulting practice, Mr. Harned built a distinguished 36-year career with the National Weather Service, where he served as Meteorologist-In-Charge of both the Houston and Raleigh forecast offices. He also advised the Director of the National Weather Service on hurricane operations and worked extensively in fire weather forecasting for North Carolina. Beyond his federal service, he has served as Executive Director of the National Weather Association and spent 25 years as a meteorological and oceanographic officer in the U.S. Naval Reserve. As an American Meteorological Society Board Certified Consulting Meteorologist (CCM), Mr. Harned brings unparalleled expertise, leadership, and credibility to every case he supports.
